Fattoria Santo Stefano is an estate in Greve-in-Chianti in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico DOCG region. It produces red wine under the Chianti Classico DOCG.

Owner: Bendinelli family since 1960. Elena Bendinelli.

Vineyards: From 350-450 metres. | 2018 19 hectares of vines of which 16 hectares of Chianti Classico and 3 hectares of IGT Toscana.

Polyculture: 30 hectares of olives (up to 500 metres), 90 hectares of woodland (up to 600 metres).

Organic certification: 2021 First vintage with full organic certification (pending).

Chianti Classico DOCG, Santo Stefano: 2015 100% Sangiovese. A bit sour-tasting (Anteprima 2018). | 2016 100% Sangiovese. 

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Drugo: 2016 95% Sangiovese, 5% each Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. | 2018 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot. 

Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Santo Stefano: 2011 90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. | 2018 90% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 3,000 bottles.
