Fattoria La Valentina is an estate located on the hills overlooking Spoltore, which is near Pescara in the Abruzzo region of east Central Italy. It was founded in1990. The owners, Sabatino, Roberto and Andrea Di Properzio, have been running the company since putting their development project into action in 1994. Wines are made under the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC, the Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC, and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC. See also the joint-venture Binomio project with Stefano Inama.
Vineyards: In the communes of Alanno, Scafa, San Valentino, and Spoltore. 150-300m a.s.l. Clay soils. Trebbiano Abruzzese and Montepulciano (both pergola abruzzese) are grown. 1,600–2,000 vines per hectare.
