Fattoria di Terrabianca is an estate winery in Radda-in-Chianti in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany, Italy. It was founded in 1988 by Roberto Guldener (Swiss) via his friendship with the oenologist and consultant Vittorio Fiore.
The history of the Terrabianca winery begins in Switzerland, in Zurich, where in 1908 Roberto Guldener’s grandparents, Gaspare and Giuseppina Ferlin–having emigrated from Rovigo–opened a Venetian tavern called Chiantiquelle – Casa Ferlin. The wine served at the tavern was not from Veneto but from Greve in Chianti, where every year Gaspare went to choose it personally, and then transported it by train in demijohns to Zurich. Roberto Guldener took over the vineyard, Fattoria di Terrabianca estate. It was sold in 2013 by to Baron Patrick De Ladoucette – one of the most renowned producers of Pouilly-Fumé. The new owner renamed the estate Arillo in Terrabianca.
