Jorge Monzón trained in Bordeaux and Burgundy (he did a stage at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) whilst Isabel Rodero, who is an architect, designed the estate’s winery in which the couple started making wine in 2010 when they launched their Dominio del Aguila label, says Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW (Decanter, March 2018).
Vineyards | Aguila’s also sell grapes to some of some of Ribera del Duero’s best producers, such as Pingus, Berrouet, Vega Sicilia and Aalto, says Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW (Decanter, March 2018).
