Domaine  Zind-Humbrecht is a Biodynamic estate in the Alsace region of France. It was created in 1959, when Léonard Humbrecht married Geneviève Zind and pooled their vineyards. Their son, Olivier Humbrecht MW was the first French citizen to become a member of the Institute of Masters of Wine.

Biodynamic certification: 1998 Joined Biodyvin. 2002 First vintage with full Biodynamic status.

Vineyards: Herrenweg comprises about 80ha of which the domaine has 10ha. A high plain of gravelly alluvium between the villages of Turckheim and Wintzenheim at the mouth of the Munster Valley. One of the estate’s earliest vineyards to ripen. Riesling and Gewürztraminer are grown.
