Domaine LePlan Vermeersch is an organic estate in the Drôme  in the Rhône Valley region of France. Wines are made under the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Côtes du Rhône-Villages AOC, Méditerranée IGP and Drôme IGP.

Background: Ann and Dirk Vermeersch acquired the domaine in 2000, beginnig with 1.7ha of Carignan, and  in 2001 produced their first vintage. Dirk, who is Belgian, was a former rally and racing champion. The couple have one daughter.

Vineyards: 20ha in 2012 In which villages? Galets roulés for AC wines. Clay-sand for vin de pays. Grassing. Syrah (wire-trained, gobelet/echalat), Grenache Noir (gobelet).

Certification: 2002 C1 from 30 Nov 2002. Ecocert. 2005 5ha (AB) Ecocert (Millésime Bio 2006). | 2007 2ha + 7ha (C2) Ecocert (Millésime Bio 2008). | 2008 3ha + 9ha (C2) by Ecocert (Millésime Bio 2009).

Winery: New winery in 2009 (2,500 sq m). Hand picking. Stainless steel.

Vin de Pays de la Drôme Rouge GTC: 2004 Carignan Wire-trained. No oak. Seems to have some Merlot in it too, berry fruit and soft icing sugar notes (Millésime Bio 2006).

GTG Grenache Noir: 2004 Bit lumpy (Millésime Bio 2006).

Côtes du Rhône AOC Rouge, Jardin Le Plan: 2004 High tone berry fruit (Millésime Bio 2006).
