Crémant de Bourgogne AOC is the generic appellation for traditional method sparkling Burgundy which can be either white or rosé. The AOC dates from 1975, finally replacing both white and rosé Bourgogne Mousseux in 1985. Bourgogne Mousseux still exists but as a red wine only.
