The Concertacion, or Concertacion de Partidos por la Deomcracia, centre-left alliance or coalition (Concertacion) founded in Chile in February 1988. It ruled Chile for 20 years, winning every election after General Pinochet’s dictatorship of military rule ended in 1990, the last four of them under Mrs Michelle Bachelet in her first presidential term, from 2006-2010 (she was succeeded as president by the conservative conservative candidate Sebastián Piñera won the Chilean presidential election in 2010.
