Château Teyssier is a 17th-century estate in Vignonet, a commune in the St Emilion Grand Cru AOC in the Bordeaux region of France. It was purchased in 1994 by Jonathan Maltus, an Englishman originally from Africa. He ran an engineering company with offices throughout Europe and South Africa. In 1992 he sold it to a Swiss company. Château Teyssier had no vines at the time as these and its name had been bought by Dourthe in the late 1970s. Maltus bought back 14ha and renovated the winery and cellars. Gilles Pauquet was the consulting oenologist.
