Château Pouget is located in the commune of Cantenac in the Margaux AOC on the left bank of the Bordeaux region.

Owner: The Guillemet family, who also own Château Boyd-Cantenac, also in the Margaux AOC. The Boyd-Cantenac wines were made at Pouget until early 1983, making Pouget in practice an alternative label for Boyd-Cantenac (Hugh Johnson (Wine Companion: 1991, p.55).

Classification: 1855 Classification Fourth Growth.
