Château Monichot is an organic estate in Tauriac in the Côtes de Bourg AOC, on the right bank ok of the Dordogne and Garonne of the Bordeaux region. 

Wine has been produced here as far back as 1920 by the Grillet family. From 2008 Château Monichot was under the stewardship of Pierre Bettes (La Rose de Palenne). In 2022, it was purchased by Michel Sabatier and Sally Lynn with the intention to continue and develop the organic production, introducing own label wines and individual parcel traceability.

Vineyards: 12h. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec.

Organic certification: 2002: First vintage with full organic certification.
