Château Le Raït is an organic estate winery in the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux AOC on the right bank of the Bordeaux region in France.
Owner: The Capoul family since 1890. three generations. Current owner Claude Capoul is working with his son Jean-Frederik Capoul, who grew up in Denmark.
Vineyards: 17.71 hectares (44 acres). On the southern side of Les Lèves-et-Thoumeyragues, on the left hand side of the D672, direction Pellegrue.
Vineyards: 1990s Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), and Merlot (65%); for white Muscadelle (15%), Sauvignon Blanc (25%) and Semillon (60%). | 2020s Merlot (95%), Cabernet Sauvignon (4%) and Malbec (1%) on clay-limestone soil.
