Château La Douce is a conventionally farmed winery in the commune of Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc in the Médoc AOC on the left bank of the Bordeaux region.
Owner: Founder-owner Cédric Perez is from the Médoc but his parents were not involved in wine (his dad was a mechanic). Cédric bought his first vines in 2006, one hectare which had been planted in 2003 (as organic) but dropped organics during the (difficult) 2007 growing season (downy mildew). He subsequently added another hectare. He also rears sheep (see below).
Vineyards: 2006 1 hectare (2.47 acres) of vines.

Other activities: Sheep (for salt marsh lamb) sold under the Agneau de Pauillac AOC.
