Château Giscours is an estate in the commune of Labarde on the Bordeaux region’s left bank. Described as ‘a huge, rambling [Victorian] château and chais in a fine park with a lake dug partly to influence the micro-climate,’ (Hugh Johnson & Hubrecht Duijker: 1987, p.72). Red wines are made under the Margaux AOC. From 1970 the estate was managed by Pierre Tari.
