Château des Jacobins is an estate in the Pomerol AOC on the right bank of the Bordeaux region. It was acquired in 2001 by the Bouldy family of Château Bellegrave in Pomerol. The vendor was a Monsieur Matignon (See also Château Matignon). The farming here is organic (details below), as it is at Château Bellegrave.

Estate vineyards: 1.2 hectares of land of which 1 hectare (2.47 acres) is vineyard. 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Sandy–gravel soils.

Organic certification: 2012 First vintage with full organic certification.

Pomerol AOC, Château des Jacobins: 2012 Lovely youthful, clear smooth and fluid red, even though still on finings (Millésime Bio January 2015).
