Ceralti is an organic estate in Donoratico on the Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany. It makes wine under the Bolgheri DOC.

Owner: Dott Iacopo Alfeo (+39 339.6103865) who is an agronomist and oenologist. Met him at Vinitaly March 2015. His parents are Roberta and Walter Alfeo.

Vineyards: 10ha (2014) of vines on a 70ha estate which includes 12ha of olives, plus peaches and woodland.

Organic certification: 2013 First vintage with full organic certification.

White wines

Bolgheri Vermentino, Ceralti: 2003 5,500 bottles. | 2014 100% Vermentino. 100% MLF (normally no MLF but cool, wet, sunless vintage). Get some dilution but well made, clear at Vinitaly March 2015.

Toscana Bianco, Sogno di Cleofe: 2003 100% Malvasia di Candia. 1,300 bottles.

Pink wines

Rosato, Nubia: 2014 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Hand picked, pressed slowly. Very good, really well made (Vinitaly March 2015).

Red wines

Bolgheri Rosso DOC, Scirè: 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Unoaked. Nice and tight, cedary classic, well done (Vinitaly March 2015).

Bolgheri Rosso DOC Superiore, Alfeo: 2014 Bottled.

Bolgheri Rosso DOC Superiore, Sonoro: Iron-rich soil. | 2012 Black fruit, sticky, dense (Vinitaly March 2015).
