Castello Bonomi, estate in the Franciacorta region of Lombardy (‘Lombardia’) owned since 2000 by the Paladin family of Bosco del Merlo in Veneto. In 2017 their main market for their Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wines was Italy.
Vineyards: 2017 24ha (120,000 bottles). In Cocaglio. 220-250 metres (high for this region). Start picking mid-August.
Organic certification: 2018 First vintage with full organic certification (to be confirmed).
