Casisano is an estate winery in Località Casisano in Montalcino in Tuscany, Italy. Its main wines are Sant’Antimo Rosso DOC, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

OwnerTommasi Family Estates. The estate was previously called Casisano Colombaio and owned since 1990 by the Ciarpella family, a medical family from Rome. They renovated both vineyards and winery. Their consultant oenologist was Paolo Vagaggini. Riccardo Ciarpella was regisseur.

Vineyards: 18ha. On a south facing ridge.

Organics: Organic practices from 1996 under the previous owners, apparently.

Red wines

Rosso di Montalcino DOC: 2017 65,000 bottles.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG: 2015 45,000 bottles.
