Cardin is a red grape variety native to Italy. It is grown in the Piemonte region of north-west Italy where it goes by many names depending on the area of origin. Once widespread in the Saluzzese area (see Saluzzo), today it is almost extinct.

Viticulture: Medium sized bunches and berries. Early ripener.
