Cantina Sociale di Santadi is a co-operative winery established in 1960 in Sulcis in Cagliari province in south western Sardinia (‘Sardegna’). The consultancy of the late Giacomo Tachis was a turning point in the co-op’s history. Raffaele Cani’s student friendship with Tachis gave rise to the Carignan-based Terre Brune, first released from the 1997 vintage. See also AgriPunica.
