Candialle is an organic estate in Panzano in Chianti, a locality (‘frazione’) of Greve in Chianti in the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany, Italy.
Owner: Josephin Tarkko Peränen (Finnish) from 2019 having bought an agritourism (2004) and vines (2006 I think, their first vintage ) in the Conca d’Oro in Panzano in Chianti. He had worked as an oenologist for a Chianti Classico wineery.
Vineyards: 35 hectares (86.5 acres) of land of which 11.5ha of vines in Panzano’s Conca d’Oro and in La Piazza. Soil is galestro with a small amount of alberese (limestone).
Organic certification: 2019 First vintage with full organic certification.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Candialle: 2013 100% Sangiovese. | 2017 Fermented in concrete tanks.
Chianti Classico DOCG, La Misse di Candialle: 2015 90% Sangiovese, 5% each Colorino and Malvasia Nera. Fermented in concrete tanks. . Blurred fruit lacking clarity (Anteprima 2018).
Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Candialle: 2013 100% Sangiovese. 18m in barrel. Some new oak. Slightly sour-tasting (Anteprima 2018).
IGT Toscana Rosso, Circe: 2010 14.5% alc-
IGT Toscana Rosso, Mimas: Sangiovese. Fermented in steel. Aged in round ceramic containers.
IGT Toscana Rosso, Pli: Sangiovese. Ferments in stainless steel. Barrel aged.
IGT Toscana Rosso, Ciclope: 2013 60% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese, 10% Petit Verdot.
