Borgo Casignano is located in Cavriglia in the Province of Arezzo, Tuscany. It produces wine under the Chianti DOCG.

Vineyards: 6 hectares (15 acres) of vineyards among chestnuts trees and briar on the craggy peaks of the Chianti Mountains. Planting vines often depended upon taking soil from the nearby forest. The vineyards are on various soil: from red schist to polychrome calcareous rock and acidic sandstone. Organic manure is supplemented with nitrogen-rich cover crops such as beans (‘favino’).

Grape varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, and Trebbiano plus international varieties Merlot, Cabernet, Gamay, and Chardonnay.

Solatio: 1999 Produced.

Sol: 100% Sangiovese.

Poggione: 50% each Sangiovese, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
