Bordeaux 1999 vintage: See Bordeaux region.

Steven Spurrier (September 2008) describes this vintage as ‘suffering unfavourable climatic conditions’ in what was an ‘early, large harvest’ giving wines with charm if not concentration…a little more stuffing than the 1977s.’
