Blanquefort is a commune in the Haut-Médoc district on the left bank of the Bordeaux region in France. Red wines can be made under the Haut-Médoc AOC. Bordeaux’s viticultural school is located here at Château Dillon.

Tourism: The now ruined Château de Duras south of the town dates from the 13th and 14th centuries.
