Beaulieu Abbey Vineyard is located in Lymington in Hampshire, a county in southern England, United Kingdom. The first vines were planted in 1958 by Lt. Col. Robrt and Mrs Margaret Gore-Browne. The estate then passed in 1974 to Mrs Gore-Browne’s godson, Ralph Montegu. The vines were planted on a site first converted to vineyards by Cistercian monks in the 1300s.
