Barbera Bianca is a white grape variety native to Italy.
Where grown: Barbera Bianca is found in Piemonte and Lombardia. It is an ancient variety originating from the Acqui and Alessandria territories. Barbera Bianca is always blended into a generic white wine with other local grape varieties such as Timorasso, Favorita, and even Moscato Bianco (for example in the Colli Tortonesi Bianco DOC).
Viticulture: Medium sized bunches and berries. High and dependable productivity; good disease resistance.
Wine style: Fresh and easygoing, not very alcoholic, and delicately perfumed with white-flower aromas.
