Alto Adige DOC Cabernet or Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc, red wine made from Cabernets Franc and/or Sauvignon grown in Alto Adige (Südtirol) in northern Italy (see Alto Adige DOC). The wine must contain at least 15% of each variety if both are named on the label, the name of the predominant one being listed first. If only one variety is named this must comprise 85-100% of the wine. It can also be made as a ‘riserva’.
