Alta Langa DOCG is a sparkling wine denomination from the Piemonte (Piedmont) region of Italy. It dates from 2002 as a DOC. It was upgraded to DOCG status in 2011.
Viticulture: Vineyards must be at 250 metres (820 feet) or higher.
Sweetness levels: From zero dosage to Extra Dry.

Alta Langa DOCG Spumante: Traditional method. 90-100% Chardonnay and/or Pinot noir, 0-10% other permitted grapes. Must age 30 months.
Alta Langa DOCG Spumante Rosato: Traditional method. 90-100% Chardonnay and/or Pinot noir, 0-10% other permitted grapes. Must age 30 months.
Alta Langa DOCG Spumante Riserve: Traditional method. 90-100% Chardonnay and/or Pinot noir, 0-10% other permitted grapes. Must age 36 months.
