Accadia is an estate winery in the Marche region of Italy producing white wine under the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC and red wine under the Rosso Piceno DOC.
Founder-owner | Angelo Accadia (b.1955). He was the first in his family to make wine, having planted some vines in 1991, making his first wines in 1995. In 2003 he told me he was also producing chickens, and is an artist, producing sculptures from iron and marble, and painting designs for the wine labels.

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore, Cantori | 2001 Picked at the end of October. Selection from a special parcel/s based on soil type, yields cut etc. Picked, pressed and settled within a few hours. 100% stainless steel. 6,000 bottles. Well put together (at the Le Busche Restaurant 6th June 2003).
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore, Conoscio | 2002 18,000 bottles. 100% stainless steel. Crisp, honey, bitter flowers (at Vallerosa Bonci in Cupramontana, 6th June 2003).
Red wines
Rosso Piceno DOC, Riverero | 2000 Aged in barrel. 4,500 bottles. 60% Montepulciano, 30% Sangiovese, 10% Lacrima di Morro. | 2001 6,000 bottles. 2002 3,500 bottles.
