VINEYARDS | 10 hectares (24.7 acres) of Beaujolais Rouge, Beaujolais Rosé, Beaujolais-Villages Blanc, and Beaujolais-Villages Rouge.

CERTIFICATION | 1999 The vines began organic conversion in 1999, initially on 5 hectares (12.35 acres). / 2003 was the first vintage for which with the domaine’s entire 10 hectares (24.7 acres) were fully certified organic..

WHITE WINES

BEAUJOLAIS BLANC VILLAGES AOC | From 50 ares of Chardonnay planted in 1987 in the lieu-dit ‘feuillées’. Sol limo-sablo argileux (luvisol redoxique) presence de silex exposition sud sud-est. Single guyot ‘en arcure’ with 15 fruiting eyes. / 2001 was 100% Chardonnay. Cold settled. Cool fermented. 30hl.

RED WINES

BEAUJOLAIS ROUGE | From 4.7ha of Gamay in the lieu-dit Buyon on a soil of argilo-limoneux (brunisol mesosaturé). Roches mères alluvions anciennes. East south-east facing. Single guyot with 10 fruiting eyes. / 2001 Thierry said he produced 295hl of wine of which 180hl was sold en vin primeur, and 115hl was kept en vin de garde. Light, decent, easy at Millésime Bio 2003. / 2002 Light, a touch vegetal at Millésime Bio 2003.

BEAUJOLAIS ROUGE VILLAGES | From 4.6ha of Gamay in two lieux-dits called Buyon and Grandes Terres. Limono-sablo-argileux luvisol redoxique exposition Sud Sud-Est. Taille gobelet. / 2001 From 275hl bottled in two batches: 160hl of vin primeur and 115hl of vin de garde.
