Weingut Warga-Hack is a Biodynamic estate winery in the Südsteiermark region of Austria.

Vineyards: 2017 10 hectares (24.7 acres) in 2017. The vineyards spread across a distance of 3.1 miles (5km), all within the communal boundary of St Andrä-Höch.

Biodynamic certification: 2007 First vintage with full organic certification. | 2017 First vintage with full Demeter Biodynamic certification.

Muskateller Maische: 

Riesling Kitzeck, Sausal:

Riesling Natur: 2016 No added sulfites (‘Natur’). Very salty, uplifting, very good (Demeter Austria tasting 2018).

Sauvignon Blanc Kitzeck, Sausal: 2017 Vines planted 1992. Very good vibrancy, minor key gooseberry notes, very savoury, excellent (Demeter Austria tasting 2018).

Sauvignon Blanc Maische:

Sauvignon Blanc Nature: No added sulfites (‘Natur’). Picked, pressed, juice settled then run to 500-litre tonneaux for fermentation and aged for 22 months in the same casks without once being racked or moved until bottling.
