Villa Monte Rico is an estate winery in Suvereto (see Suvereto DOCG) in Livorno Province, Tuscany. It makes wine under the Val di Cornia DOC. The estate worked with Richards Walford in the UK.

Background: Acquired in 1971 by Gunther Reichenberg, who chose the Italian version of his surname as title of the estate. Reichenberg is German, but worked in Switzerland as an economist. Aline and Paula Reichenberg now run the estate.

Val di Cornia Rosso DOC, Grappolo: Villa Monte Rico make a varietal Sangiovese ‘which reflects the ripeness and juiciness of which the grape is capable at these low altitudes,’ (Nicolas Belfrage: 2003, p.155).
