Verucchiese is a minor red grape variety native to Italy.

Where grown: It is found in Tuscany and in Emilia-Romagna, in the countryside around Rimini on the Adriatic coast, in the zone of Verucchio, whence the name.

Viticulture: Medium-small, medium compact bunches, with small berries. Verucchiese is productive but sensitive to grey rot.
