Verucchiese is a red grape variety native to Italy. It is found in Tuscany and in Emilia-Romagna, in the countryside around Rimini on the Adriatic coast, in the zone of Verucchio, whence the name. It has medium- small-sized, medium compact bunches with small berries. It is productive but sensitive to grey rot.
