Verdello, minor wine grape native to Italy. It is found in Tuscany and Umbria and to a limited extent in Lazio, usually as part of a blend. Pure Verdello wines are rare.

Wines: Tuscany: Bianco di Pitigliano DOCUmbria: Colli Amerini DOC. | Colli del Trasimeno DOC. | Orvieto DOC. | Torgiano Bianco DOC.

Viticulture: Medium sized bunches and berries. Abundant and dependable productivity; good disease resistance. It is a late ripener.

Wine style: High natural acidity. Aromas and flavours of green apple, ripe pear, citrus, white flowers. It is always simple and fresh, but with an interesting character.
