Val delle Corti is an organic estate winery in Località Le Croce, Radda-in-ChiantiTuscany, Italy. Red wines are made under the Chianti Classico DOCG.

Owner: Roberto Bianchi. His father Giorgio moved the family from Milan to here in the 1970s to be able to make wine. Roberto studied and lived in Germany (degree in German literature, German wife) before returning to run the estate after his father died.

Vineyards: 7 hectares (17.3 acres), owned and rented. East-north-east facing just south-west of Radda town. Stony terrain (‘sassoso’). White soil. 450-500m altitude, less susceptible to warming climatic conditions.

Il Campino: 100% Sangiovese. Unoaked.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Val delle Corti2015 95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo. Made by Seán O’Callaghan. Bright crunchy fruit, vibrant (Anteprima 2018). | 2017 95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo. Very juicy (Anteprima 2020).

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Val delle Corti2013 Bottled. | 2015 100% Sangiovese. | 2016 100% Sangiovese. 14% Nice crunch and texture to the fruit, very clear, with no hint of over-ripeness (Anteprima 2020). | 2018 100% Sangiovese. 5,000 bottles.
