TENUTA BARBARDORO is an organic estate in the township (‘comune’) of Montespertoli in the province of Siena, Tuscany. The estate began estate bottling in 2004, but in 2015 was also selling a proportion of its production in bulk (‘sfuso’). Its flagship wine is the Chianti Montespertoli DOCG.

BIANCO, AMALINDO / 2013 8,000 bottles. 95% Trebbiano Toscana, 5% Malvasia. Crisp, limey at Vinitaly 2015. / 2014 Creamy at Vinitaly 11 April 2016.
ROSSO TOSCANO, DOMIZIO / 2013 10,000 bottles. 100% Sangiovese. 6 month in concrete tanks. Nice and bright and simple at Vinitaly 2015.
CHIANTI MONTESPERTOLI DOCG, IIº GUIDO / 2012 100% Sangiovese. 12m in oak ‘botti’. Smoke oak, some reduction, OK, pleasant but fragile fruit at Vinitaly 2015.
2016 2ha of olives (1,800 olive trees).
