Strevi DOC is a late-harvested or dried grape (‘passito’) sweet white wine with bottle-ageing potential. It is made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes from Strevi, in Alessandria province in the eastern part of the Asti zone in the Piemonte (Piedmont) region of Italy. The Moscato Bianco grapes dry on racks (inside or outside) over four to six weeks before pressing. The wine can be sold from the second year after harvest. Strevi’s steep sites and and especially warm mesoclimate means it can be considered as a sub-zone within the wider Moscato d’Asti DOCG zone.
