Scimiscià is a white wine grape native to ItalyGrown in Liguria, Scimiscià is found in Liguria’s Valle del Tigullio (Genova), especially around the towns of Cicagna, Leivi, Avegno, Camposasco, and Lorsica. The monovarietal wines are allowed in the DOC Golfo del Tigullio-Portofino (o Portofino).

Viticulture: Medium to medium-large sized bunches and berries. Very vigorous, average and quite regular productivity.

Wine style: Intense nose of ripe pear and even banana, with a nice saline tang and plenty of acidity.
