Schloss Saarstein, winery in the Saar region of Germany. The estate wholly owns the Serriger Schloss Saarstein vineyard site whose wines display a ‘pronounced blackcurrant reminiscent of Ruwer wines, but their sleek raciness is unmistakeable Saar,’ according to Stuart Pigott (1995, p.36).

Owners: Christian and Andrea Ebert (husband and wife). 

Vineyards: On steep slopes above the town of Serrig.

Winemaking: The Riesling wines age in 1,000 litre oak casks.
