Roussin de Morgex is a red wine grape native to Italy. Not much is known about Roussin de Morgex. It is not related to the similarly named Roussin, another rare variety found in Valle d’Aosta and the one officially listed in the National Registry.

Where grown: Valle d’Aosta: in the vineyards around the village of Morgex.

Viticulture: Roussin de Morgex is currently an experimental project.

Wine style: High acidity level, potential for sparkling wines. Wild strawberry, almond flowers, fresh mountain herb flavours.
