Quagliano | Red wine grape native to the the Saluzzese area in Cuneo province in the Piemonte region of north-west Italy, around the towns of Pagno, Piasco, Busca, Brondello, Costigliole Saluzzo, Saluzzo, and Verzuolo.

Wine style | Pink-hued, light-bodied sweet wine. Strawberry flavour. Also available in a sparkling version.

Other names | Quagliano was once also called Negro Dolce.

Wines | Piemonte: Colline Saluzzesi Quagliano DOC.

Viticulture | Medium sized bunches; medium-large berries with extremely thin skin. Good vigour, abundant productivity and quite good disease resistance.
