Provveditore is a wine producer in Scansano, a commune in Grosseto province in coastal south-west Tuscany. It makes red Morellino di Scansano DOCG wines.

Morellino di Scansano DOCG, Provveditore: 2003 A bit of over-extraction for such lightness of fruit, above average but essentially metallic and a bit dull (at Argiano 9th March 2005).

Morellino di Scansano DOCG, Sassato: 2003 Stinky cabbage at the Morellino Consorzio on Wed 2nd March 2005. Another bottle: Nice bright colour with some depth and without being over-extracted; nice sweet tannins too; a little simple as the finish is rather abrupt but good chunky style although not perhaps one to go for in the cooler years I think (Argiano, 4th March 2005).
