Podere Scopetone is an estate in the Montalcino region of Tuscany.

History: The origin of Podere Scopetone as a wine estate dates to 1978 when the first vines were planted by Federigo Abbarchi, an airline pilot from Milan, and his wife Angela Abbarchi. They were advised initially by Attilio Pagli, and bottled their first wine in 1982 with guidance from Giulio Gambelli. After Federigo died in 2009 his widow Angela rented the 0.8 hectare Scopetone vineyard to her next door neighbours at the La Melina estate. After Angela’s death her family continued renting the vines to La Melina.
