Nino Franco | Estate in Valdobbiadene in Treviso province in the Veneto region of Italy. It produces wines under the Valdobbiandene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

Owner: Primo Franco.

Background | Cantine Franco was founded in Valdobbiadene in 1919 by Antonio Franco. The latter was succeeded by his son Nino Franco under whom the winery grew. But it was Primo, first with his father Nino and later alone, who modernised the winery. Nino had gained his diploma at the Conegliano Veneto school of enology. Primo focused on a defined quality model he had got to know during his travels and study. At the beginning of the 1990s, he worked with both estate grapes and grapes from contracted growers. Primo is helped by his wife Annalisa, who devotes almost all her time to Villa Barberina and by his daughter Silvia in production, strategy and sales.
