Narni is an ancient hill town and commune in Terni province in Umbria, central Italy. It gives its name to the eponymous IGT (link below).

Population: 20,000.

Terroir: At an altitude of  790 feet (240 m), it overhangs a narrow gorge of the Nera River. It is very close to the geographic centre of Italy, marked by a stone.
