Moscato di Sardegna DOC is a sparkling white wine from the Italian island of Sardinia (Sardegna). The DOC was granted in 1980 and covers the entire island. The wine ‘has never been produced in quantity. Most is grown in the Anglona and Gallura hills to the north,’ (Burton Anderson: 1990, p.291). Wines labelled ‘Tempio Pausania’ or ‘Tempio’ come from the commune of that name. Wines labelled ‘Gallura’ willl have come from that northern promontory (Burton Anderson, 1990, p.291).
