Religion: The Montenigrin Orthodox Church is much smaller than the country’s main denomination which is the Serbian Orthodox Church (75% of Montenigrins), and the issue is whether they should be considered Serbs and thus whether their state should be part of Serbia (The Economist, ‘Montenegro’s Election’, 29 August 2020, p.18).

Demographics: Albanians and Croats comprise 18% of the population (The Economist, ‘Montenegro’s Election’, 29 August 2020, p.18).
