Marchione is a white grape variety native to Italy where it is found in Puglia.

Where grown: In Puglia it is considered a high-quality grape characterized by good total acidity levels and the capacity to give highly perfumed, almost aromatic wines. It’s used in some IGT wines in the central Murgia production zone.

Viticulture: Large sized loosely compact bunches, with large berries. Abundant and reliable productivity; it is very sensitive to most common vine diseases.
