Les Trente Glorieuses was the thirty years from 1945 to 1975 following the end of the Second World War in France. The name was coined by the French demographer Jean Fourastié in 1979 with the publication of his book ‘Les Trente Glorieuses, ou la révolution invisible de 1946 à 1975‘. See Charles de Gaulle.

‘The Second World War preceded the Trente Glorieuses, never-had-it-so-good Keynesianism, the explosion of welfare states, and government-guaranteed full employment,’ (‘The right kind of government, The Economist Special Report, 10th October 2020).
