Gigondas AOC is a red wine from the commune of Gigondas in the Rhône Valley region of France, dubbed by some as ‘the poor man’s Chateauneuf du Pape‘. The Gigondas region is 10 miles (16km) west of the Dentelles de Montmirail on the D7.
